After finishing my dental degree at CES University in Medellin, Colombia, in 1994, I worked at a rural public hospital for a year (1995-1996) and in private practice for about 3 years  (1996-1998).  During this time I finished a post-graduate degree in Hospital Management at EAFIT Univesrity in Medellin, Colombia.

In 1998 I went to England to study English, both in Cambridge and London. It was in London I met my husband and after getting married in Colombia  I came to Christchurch,New Zealand to embark in a new adventure in my life.

I passed the IELTS academic English exam in February 2002 and passed the New Zealand Dentist Registration Examination (NZDREX) in 2004. 

​

I have worked as a dentist in New Zealand since 2004. I worked at Good Street Dental in Rangiora (North Canterbury) from October 2004 till February 2011 and for almost 18 years at Linwood Avenue Dental in Christchurch from November 2004 till October 2022.

Through communication with my patients, both in English and Spanish, a no-nonsense approach, good sense of humour and very good technical skills, I am commited to providing excellent customer service suited to an array of people of different ages and backgrounds.

In my free time I like reading, travelling and sharing time with my family and friends. I believe in the power of laughter as a tool to reduce stress and make life lighter and happier.
